No saltines no tip

It's Friday Morning, Watch out. This kind gentleman decided that since we're a restaurant that serves soup bread instead of crackers, his wife should not leave the coins that she was going to leave for a tip. Exact words, "Don't leave such a big tip!" with a flick of the wrist to send the salt shaker flying. Crackers are everything.

the smell that lasted

It's a smelly Friday and not just because the kitchen is cutting onions. A Nagchampa bomb occurred in the form of a young man and lasted the entire shift. All for the smell of spices, but if you can cause the servers to cough because of the load you put on, you put on a stink bomb.

Everybody is Funny

Oh dear, its everybody is funny Friday. One fellow explains how hilarious it is to be the only man kicked out of Ma Fishers by 3 in the afternoon. While another fellow has a great joke about not wanted to eat a to-go box because he's too full. Hilarious.

Sheldon and the Misses

Sheldon and the Misses. A kind elderly couple that is still super hip. The Misses says things like "This is the shit!" while Sheldon stays quiet until he'd like more coffee. A pleasure to serve and see the lively elders.

Intro to Friday Morning Zine and Bluespruce Goose

Here we go,

I am bluespruce Goose, friend of babies, toddlers and the artists of service industry workers. I am a service industry artist as well as the nanny of your child. I am involved in the most intimate of your moments whether it's teaching your child to sign or, along with my service industry co-artists, we hear the secrets shared between you and your loved one at dinner.

Through the experiences that we capture at work we can show you what it look like, looking in from an outside perspective. Some of you are amazing, some terrible and some just think you are super funny.

This is a one panel zine composed of real experiences that we have had, maybe with you or you're friend, or a blind date. It's meant to be related to, laughed at or be enlightened by. Mainly it's made to help us, service industry artists, get through a tough day of serving. Somehow interesting exchanges always happen on Fridays, therefore the zine is created every Friday leading to the name of Friday Morning Zines.

We hope you enjoy them.
